Art Deco vase by Karl Palda* in cut and enameled glass decorated with large geometric patterns, signed below "Art Glass Czechoslovakia", from Bohemia - Czech Republic, vintage 1930s 20th century.

This vase is in good condition and is very decorative.

Note: some tiny accidents and scratches on the enamelling, see photos.

* In 1888, Karlem Paldou (Karl / Karel Palda) founded a glassworks in Haida, Nový Bor in Bohemia (Czech Republic). He reached the height of his fame in the 1930s where he developed a very particular and inventive style with marked Art Deco lines. From 1938, the company was managed by his son Jaroslav Palda. In 1945, the company was nationalized and merged with the Borská glassworks.
