Perfume bottle in crystal cut into diamond points, most certainly the work of the Cristallerie du Creusot* in Montcenis, finely chiseled gilded bronze ring, from the Restoration period around 1820-1830, 19th century.

This bottle is in good overall condition and is of superb quality. It has its crystal stopper.

Please note: some micro-chips on the crystal (on the tips and the stopper), slight dirt and wear from time, see photos.

*Creusot Crystal Factory:

In 1787, the King's Council of State decided to transfer the Queen's Crystal Factory from Sèvres to Montcenis. Built to plans by Barthélémy Jeanson, the buildings housed workshops, offices, administrators' and workers' accommodation, as well as the furnaces, installed in two conical halls. Until its purchase in 1832 by the Saint-Louis and Baccarat establishments, the crystal factory enjoyed great influence. Eugène Schneider, who had become manager of the forges and workshops of Le Creusot, bought the buildings of the former crystal factory, which he made his residence. The Château de la Verrerie, a Historic Monument, is owned by the town of Le Creusot.
