Casserole and its lid in solid silver hallmarked with the Fermiers Généraux de Paris (Paris Généralité Gros Ouvrage hallmark 1780/81 and hallmark of the commune house 1781), lid decorated with a small spinning top for grip, blackened wooden handle, vintage late 18th century.
This saucepan is in good general condition, good quality. Hallmarked see photos (pan lid), goldsmith's mark hard to read.
Note: small accident between saucepan and wooden handle, some tiny shocks and dents in the bottom and on the lid, micro-scratches and wear over time, see photos.
