Covered salt cellar in finely chiseled solid silver, decorated with garlands and knots joining a coat of arms medallion, resting on small claw feet, lid decorated with a pine cone, hallmarked with the Farmers General of Paris (1779) and hallmark of Recense, d 18th century Louis XVI period.
This salt shaker is in good condition. Hallmarked see photos (worn hallmarks, illegible silversmith hallmark).
