Vase of orange mottled color glass paste signed Delatte Nancy *, Art Nouveau, vintage twentieth century.

This vase is in good condition. It is signed on the side (signature a little worn).

A note: some small defects in the glass manufacturing, micro-scratches and slight wear of time, see pictures.

* André Delatte (1887-1953)

is an industrial, glass master, founder in 1921 of the Glass East SA whose workshops were making artistic glassworks main brand ADelatte Nancy, in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. The glass techniques that made famous the signed Delatte productions are mainly: the so-called berluzes vases, which are glass vases marmoréen blown, long neck stretched and sometimes hemmed, naturalists cameo glass etched with acid, d Inspiration Art Nouveau (in the style of industrial Gallé), yet at the wrong tastes of the time, Art Deco glassware, glass plain or marmoréen in hot enamel surface friezes stylized decorations. The production consists mainly of the manufacture of vases and lamps. Now recognized among the significant Art Nouveau glass, despite the anachronism of its production, his works are exhibited at the Museum of the School of Nancy.
