Miniature painting (surely a gouache or oil) representing a battle scene with soldiers of the Empire of Napoleon I ambushed, painted in the style of the painter Horace Vernet, in a wooden frame decorated with gilded stucco palmettes, First Empire period early nineteenth century.
This painting is in good condition and frame. It is under glass. It is not signed. The frame is original (Empire period).
A note: some minor losses and wear on the frame (especially in the corners) to see pictures.
