Very nice watercolor of a landscape with a marine house on the water in the Gulf of Morbihan, perhaps on the Ile-aux-Moines, signed and dated Paul Perraudin * 1975 period twentieth century.
This aquerelle is in good condition. It is under glass. It is signed lower right.
(1907-1990): official painter of the Navy since 1943. Specialist watercolors, drawings, prints, Perraudin extensively practiced teaching decorative arts. As marine painter he made the following shipments: Beautemps Baupre, Lobelia, Richelieu, La Somme, Oran Naval, Andromeda, The Savoy, aero Meeting .. Perraudin admired Daumier (emphasis revealing elements in the drawing). His work is made watercolors and drawings only few lithographs and illustrated books.
