Superb and rare small tambourine "taarija" certainly finely engraved solid silver decorated with small flowers and vegetable arabesques, from northern Morocco, vintage early twentieth century.
The tambourine is in good condition. This kind of small tambouron accompanying violin and bendir, it is used by women during weddings.
