Pair of porcelain Chinese oil lamps from Canton, representing many characters (dignitaries and women), richly decorated with colorful flowers, fruits, stylized friezes and butterflies, gilded bronze mount, crystal ball of St. Louis with Japanese decoration of dragon in gilding, XIXth century
These lamps are in good condition and are very decorative. The system works. They have their glassworks. The balls are not signed but are of the quality of Saint-Louis.
A note: some wear and enamel defects on porcelain (lack of decoration on faces, see red arrows), some wear on the gilding balls (including clouds), micro-scratches on the crystal, gilding bronze is used in places, wear of time, vori photos.
