Pair of hand painted miniatures representing the portraits of a couple of notables of the Empire, the woman wearing a blue velvet dress; the man in a frock coat with a high collar, signed "Hamm * Pinxit" and dated 1809 and 1808, from the 1st Empire period at the beginning of the 20th century.
These miniatures are in good condition. Signed and dated see photos.

French miniaturist painter, active between 1806 and 1810. A miniature of this artist was sold during the sale of the collection "The Richard Allen Collection of Fine Portrait Miniatures" at Bonhams in London in 2014.
