This miniature is in good condition and frame of gilded bronze. It is under glass. It is signed in ink on the back of the frame.

Painter working in Paris (Ec fr). He was a pupil of Boucher. He was protected by the Comte de Caylus and the Prince de Conti, and he became the king miniaturist. This artist who devoted himself almost exclusively to the miniature is one of the most remarkable of the French School.
