Violin bow in pernambuco wood, ebony rim with mother-of-pearl grain, mounting in nickel silver and silver thread, signed "Poirson in Paris" *, from late 19th to early 20th centuries.
This bow is in good condition, in its juice, normal wear. Signed see photos.

Poirson trained in Paris with Nicolas Maire from 1865, then worked for JBVuillaume. After Vuillaume's death in 1875, he joined the workshop of Gand & Bernadel, then established himself independently in 1879. His bows were signed "POIRSON A PARIS".
