Monstrance or neo-gothic monstrance in silver plated punched Minerva (1st title) and punch of the goldsmith Pierre-Henry Favier (1809-1894).
Glory with wavy rays surmounted by an enameled cross decorated with Christ crucified. Custos surrounded by polychrome enamels representing the 4 evangelists as well as vine leaves. Straight barrel engraved with foliage with knot decorated with enamel and foliage crosses. Polylobed base on which are screwed three statuettes of figures representing The Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus and St John the Baptist, St. Anne and St. Mary Magdalen holding the chalice of the Holy Grail. Inlaid with enamelled medallions presenting the Holy Family. The whole resting on four zoomorphic feet (in the form of small dragons).
