Church lectern or Bible holder in bronze and finely chiselled gilded brass, decorated with a Greek cross on the top, stylized plant motif on the perimeter, decorated with enamel medallions representing the symbols of the 4 evangelists, with cabochons colored glass, resting on four claw feet, XIXth century.
This lectern is in good condition. The inclination is adjustable.
A note: missing two small cabochons (see red arrows), some dirt and oxidation especially on the top, scratches and wear of time, see photos (see red arrows).
