Finely chiseled vermeillé silver chalice, tulip-shaped cup, chiseled knot of cherubs' heads, fruits and plant motifs, mounted on a round foot decorated with an openwork frieze, punch of Apt (crowned APT) and master silversmith Claude Bontemps (1682-1712), vintage late 17th-early 18th centuries.
This chalice is in good condition and is of remarkable quality. Hallmarked under the base (and later repunched with crab).
A note: slight deformation (it is a little tilted, see last photo), probably gilded, some micro-scratches and wear of time, look at the photos.
