Chalice and its paten in solid silver, hallmarked Minerva (1st title) and goldsmith's hallmark D Frères for Louis & Arthur Demarquet (1889-1939), with Latin inscriptions around the bowl and on the knot, mounted on a chiseled octagonal foot of a small Greek cross, in its original box, from the Art Deco period circa 1930 20th century.
This chalice is in good condition as is its paten. Hallmarked see photos. The interior of the bowl and the reverse of the paten are vermillion.
Please note: it will need to be re-cleaned, some micro-scratches and wear from time, tiny wear of the vermeil on the paten, see photos.
