Kiss of peace or in finely chopped * osculatoire ormolu representing the scene of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, surrounded by vegetable friezes and heads of cherubs and topped by a pediment composed of torches, a dove and a shell, antique eighteenth century.
The kiss of peace is in good condition.

* During the celebration of the Eucharist, the kiss of peace is the liturgical rite which precedes sacramental communion. This instrument, appeared in the Middle Ages, and enables the faithful to transmit the kiss of peace without direct physical contact - sometimes ambiguous - and reminding the religious sense of accomplishment gesture.
