Large covered brushpot (called Bitong) blackened wood fully carved rich characters (a woman squatting in front of a wise man, two characters dancing with sticks), all in landscapes with lush vegetation (bamboo ...) , lid decorated with a dragon wrapped in foliage, origin China, XIXth century.
This pot is in good condition and is of remarkable quality. It is presented on a pedestal decorated with branches.
A note: slots on the wood, some accidents and small gaps on the sets (especially in the middle of a stick), wear time, look at the pictures.
