Bone tobacco rasp delicately carved with a small cherub catching a fish, with the inscription relating to Fidelity "I die where I attach" above, decorated with a stylized shell at the top, vintage 18th century .
This grater is in good condition. Superb quality. She kept her grid for grating tobacco. Old collector's label on the back.
Note: defect (line) at the back of the part with the cherub, tiny little cracks in the bone, some dirt, scratches and wear over time on the decorations, see photos.
