Two photographs or daguerreotypes representing the portrait of a seated soldier (Georges Serres père in the 1815s) and the portrait of a young man in uniform (Gerges Serres fils 1842-1924) at the Prytanée Militaire de la Flèche, in gilded wooden frames with pearl friezes, from the 19th century.
These photos are in good general condition as well as their frames. Annotations on the back from the descendants.
Please note: slight yellowing over time, some wear on the frames, see photos.
We are selling other works from this family.
* Georges Serres (1842-1924), son of Georges Serres, married Marie Bigot (daughter of Jacques Bigot). They had two children together: Henri (father of Marie-Christine Serres) and Jacques (Colonel), father of Bernard, Philippe, Christian and Jean-Dominique.
The paintings presented are annotated on the back by the descendants (notably Bernard Serres, born in 1926).
