Superb large Aubusson tapestry depicting a beautiful landscape with two phoenix in a verdant castle, surrounded by trees and a pond, border decorated with flowers,
urns and friezes vegetable vintage early eighteenth century.
This tapestry is in good condition, it is in its own juice. There bands reinforcements sewn to the back of the carpet (in the liner).
A report: the lining is piecemeal, a few holes and disconnected places (especially near or on the phoenix), wear time, but look at the pictures (red arrows).
