Exhibited at the Salon des Artistes français since 1886; honorable mention in 1893; member in 1893; third class medal in 1895; bronze medal in 1900, at the Universal Exhibition; Animal Museum since 1913. ** Alphonse Cytère (1861 -1941) is a French ceramist engineer linked to the École de Nancy. He has developed a new technique for transforming an enamel with metallic reflections which has earned their notoriety "flamed sandstone Rambervillers".
