Death mask of the Emperor Napoleon I, patinated plaster medal, after the mask made in St. Helena by his personal physician F. Antommarchi *, vintage late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This mask is in good condition. Signed on the side Antommarchi.

* The death mask of Napoleon I is the imprint of the face of the emperor taken shortly after his death in 1821 and cast plaster. The official mask is the "Antommarchi mask". One of the first copies of the mask is on display at the Musée de l'Armée de Paris.
