** In Greek mythology, Actaeon is a famous hunter. One day he surprises, during a hunt, the goddess Artémis (Diane) taking his bath. Furious, she turns him into a deer. Powerless, Actéon dies torn apart by his own dogs (bloodhounds, greyhounds, mastiffs and mastiffs) who do not recognize him and are mad with rage by the goddess.
