Very nice and large pitcher or earthenware sculpture by Annick Michel or Lodereau * creation of 1950/70, the twentieth century.
This sandstone is in very good condition, it is signed and numbered hollow (see photos).

* Michael and Annick Lodereau:
Contemporary artists from the region Figeac in the Lot Valley. They are known for their sculptures in sandstone and achievements in 1950/70. Works engraved "ML" are those of Michel Lodereau and "AL" those Annick.
They are referenced in the book "Pottery stoneware, seals and signatures from 1941 to 1985" D.Goudenhooff (2010).
