Silver metal sculptures representing elephants, signed G.Cacciapuoti *, early twentieth century period.
These elephants are in good condition. They are both signed. The tusks are made of bakelite.
A note: breaks in the tusks of an elephant, normal wear see photos.
Sculptueur, Cacciapuoti with his brothers, father and grandfather has a long family history of realization of sculptures. Arrived at Treviso in the early years of the twentieth century, he chose primarily the representation of animals and managed to offer this area a lot of originality. He was quickly honored at Art Fair in Treviso in 1915.
