Superb white stone sculpture of a lion holding a shield in its paws, vintage late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries.
This sculpture is in its juice and suffered the uses of time.
A note: it has been broken and repaired, partly cement restorations (on the back) and also plaster (in the corners, see red arrows), wear and soiling of the time, some chips on the edge, well look at the pictures .
