Exceptional and rare terracotta sculptures representing a couple of dogs, mastiffs (certainly English), eyes sulfide, monogrammed LL in the elongated female, working in the spirit of the famous manufacturing Goldscheider, of late nineteenth century era .
These sculptures are in good condition. The dog is lying monogrammed below. They are life-size.
A note: slight wear and traces of clay, some scratches on the sulfide (especially the eyes of the seated male), the male's legs were pierced (probably to fix it), slight wear of time, see pictures.
