Polychrome terracotta sculpture entitled "Mignon" representing a mandolin player sitting on a rock, signed by the artist Le Guluche * and the seal of Isle-d'Adam Hanne, from the late 19th-early 20th centuries.

Note: the thumb of the right hand (holding the mandolin) was glued, missing the little finger of this hand (old break), some minor accidents and lack of polychromy, wear time, see photos (cf red arrows).
Is a French sculptor. He mainly produced popular subjects for the decorative pottery manufactures of Villenauxe-la-Grande (Aube) and L'Isle-Adam (Val-d'Oise). The collaboration of Joseph Le Guluche with the Mauger families and especially with Alphonse Hanne marks the golden age of these factories. His work is divided into several main categories: the subjects of the seaside, the rural subjects, the feminine allegories of Art Nouveau inspiration, the Orientalist subjects.
