Anthropomorphic sculpture or anthropomorphic statuette in ceramic black varnished most certainly of Accolay * in the form of African or ethnic character stylized, of time XXème century.

Workshop in the village of Accolay, in the department of Yonne. This production center was created by four former students of Alexandre Kostanda Actifs from 1945 to 1983, their work is characterized by a great technical inventiveness and an extremely abundant production. A vast series of chamotte or varnished pieces received graphic decorations of ethnic, Inca or Aztec inspiration.
Parallel to these pieces were created ceramic masks recalling the first arts.
