Pair of Chinese paintings on rice paper depicting court scenes with on one side a dignitary or mandarin wearing a richly embroidered outfit with his servant; on the other his wife in a sumptuous dress, her servant presenting him with a basket of flowers, Canton school, in gilded wooden frames imitating bamboo, 19th century.
These paintings are in good condition and are very decorative.
Please note: some light stains on the paper, slight accidents on the frames (tiny traces of restoration on the gilding in places), wear and tear, see photos.
