Pair of small paintings on fabric representing the portrait of a couple of Chinese ancestors: a dignitary or mandarin with his wife (the latter having very long fingernails), both wearing a rich dress embroidered with flowers and a bird (phoenix or crane), from China, 19th century.
These paintings are in good condition and are very decorative.
