Oil on canvas signed M. Bilbeaud * representing a marine landscape with some dry boats on a beach of Méterannée in Provence, most probably in the region of Sète or Nice, dated 1976.
This oil is in good condition. Signed lower right and back.
A note: small accident on the frame, slight wear of time, see photos.
born in 1919 in Sète,; lives in Marseille, then in Nice. He began painting in 1960. Died in Nice in 1997, his studio was scattered in 1999. Colorful painter of Mediterranean genre scenes, bordering on abstraction.
