Oil on cardboard depicting the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus, reading the Bible, in a countryside landscape, French school, label marked Delacroix back, XIXth century.
This painting is in good condition. The frame is newer. On the back, written inscription "To Monsieur and Madale Roux, low testimony of esteem and recognition, Toucas, Toulon, April 29, 1835". Old label marked "Delacroix".
