* The healing of the daughter of a Canaanene is one of the miracles attributed to Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 15, verses 21 to 28. "Jesus, having departed from there, withdrew into the territory of Tire and Sidon. And behold, a Canaanite woman, coming from these countries, cried to her, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is cruelly tormented by the demon. He did not answer him a word, and his disciples came to him, and said to him earnestly, Send her away, for she cries behind us. And he said, I have been sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. But she came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me! And he said, It is not good to take the children's bread, and to cast it to the little dogs. Yes, Lord, she said, but the little dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the table of their masters. Then Jesus said to him, "Woman, your faith is great; that it be done to you as you want. And, at the same time, her daughter was healed. "
