This oil is in good condition and its frame. Signed J. Casanova and dated 1907 lower left. With this painting, a map giving indications on its history and its provenance. "Pitchpin, red wood of Oregon forest 25 to 30 meters high, painted by Mrs. Casanova of Eureka (California) June 1908. Frame formed by a carving of a magnifying glass of the tree, offered to my uncle Dr. Ch Hellaut? [...] Ile auxMoines June 1945 ".
