Oil on canvas depicting a small path lined with tall trees, Pitchpin in an Oregon forest in the United States, painted by Mrs. Casanova, dated 1907, in a red wooden frame of the said forest.
This oil is in good condition and its frame. Signed J. Casanova and dated 1907 lower left. With this painting, a map giving indications on its history and its provenance. "Pitchpin, red wood of Oregon forest 25 to 30 meters high, painted by Mrs. Casanova of Eureka (California) June 1908. Frame formed by a carving of a magnifying glass of the tree, offered to my uncle Dr. Ch Hellaut? [...] Ile auxMoines June 1945 ".
