French artist, born June 24, 1927, of Flemish parents Claude Verlinde feels very early vocation and entered the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and then at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere around the age of twenty years. Closest to. Renaissance, it seeks above all the lyricism and freedom of expression. It is very influenced by Hieronymus Bosch, Cranach, Francisco Goya, James Ensor, etc..
