Oil on panel signed Etienne Martin * representing a beautiful view of the large fountain in Digne-les-Bains in Provence, small mountains and green landscape in the background, in a gilt frame, vintage late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This table is in good condition and its frame. Signed lower left.
A note: it will be reattached in its frame, some yellowing on the varnish of the table (visible in the sky), slight wear of time, see photos.
(Ec fr). Pupil of Vollon. He exhibited at the Salon from 1878 to 1904. Member of the French Artists since 1892, he obtained an honorable mention in 1885, silver medal in 1889 (Universal Expo). Founder of the Musée de Digne. (See Benefit)
