Oil on canvas depicting the portrait of a richly adorned nobleman, in armor, velvet garment, rich bishop's collar, at his side a beautiful crown adorned with pearls, most certainly a Grand Duke or a Prince-Elector of the Holy Germanic Empire , vintage late 17th-early 18th centuries.
This painting is in good condition. The frame is posterior. The canvas has been restored.
A note: some small holes and lack of paint on the canvas, traces of restorations (on the back), wear of time, look carefully at the photos (see red arrows).
