Oil on panel representing a hunting scene, with a huntsman seated with two hunting dogs in a country landscape, signed C.Bombled*, Dutch school, in a gilded stuccoed wooden frame with acanthus leaves in the corners, from the 19th century.

This painting is in good condition. Signed lower right.

Please note: tiny accidents and losses on the frame, some cracks on the paint, wear and tear, see photos.

* Bombled Karel-Frederik (1822-1902)

painter. The Netherlands. Dutch school. Bombled specializes in military and battle scenes, and also executes landscapes, horses and races, inspired by Delacroix and Géricault. Also signed Charles Bombeld (not to be confused with a homonym, also painter 1867-1927).
