Active in the 20th century. He is the painter of gypsies, of sad suburbs, of fortifications and suburban streets under the snow, of funfairs. He painted a lot of scenes from the Butte Montmartre, then left Paris for Nantes. At the Salon d'Automne in 1941, he exhibited a painting entitled “Snow Effect”. (artist referenced in Bénézit)
