Very nice oil on canvas depicting a landscape of Britain: a pond in the vicinity of Bono in Morbihan, signed G.Ballerat * vintage twentieth century.
This painting is in good condition. It is signed lower left.

Renowned for its color and material as the artist likes to create itself. He exhibited regularly at the Salon d'Automne in Paris, the National Society of Fine Arts and the Museum of Sceaux. He left during the war Chevreuse 40 and set up his studio in the port of Auray: St. Goustan. During one of his returns, he could not prevent himself from his former work on youth issues.
