Very nice oil on panel depicting a view of the village of Anclades near Lourdes in the Pyrenees, painted by Eugène Forel *, dated 1927, vintage twentieth century.
This oil is in good condition. It is signed and dated lower right and back.
A note: slight wear on the frame, see photos.
Bordeaux painter Associate Artists Girondins (He was the President). He participated in the Salon d'Automne. Eugene Forel labored during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.
