Superb large gouache on paper representing a scene animated by characters in a port in the Bigouden region, with fishermen working and unloading the boats, and in the foreground two pretty young girls wearing the traditional headdress, Breton school perhaps from Pont-Aven, from the first half of the 20th century.
This painting is in good general condition, it is in its own juice. It is not signed but was made by Yves Chudeau, restorer at the Louvre Museum in the 1930s.
