Very nice oil on panel depicting the portrait of a chef wearing his white cap, painted by Francesco Brunery * vintage late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This oil is in good condition. It is not signed but is from the family of the artist ( label on the back).
A note: traces of holes on the panel, light scratches and wear time, see pictures.
genre painter born in Turin (Italy), residing in France (Ec it.). Pupil of Gerome and Bonnat in Paris. Honorable mention at the 1903 Salon (Cf Bénézit)
