Superb oil on panel depicting an impressionist still life with a bouquet of flowers (roses) in a vase, signed Kees Terlouw *, Dutch school, vintage twentieth century.

This table is in good condition and frame. It is signed lower right.

* Kees Terlouw (1890-1948):

painter of landscapes and flowers (Ec. holl.). Originally from Rotterdam, Kees Terlouw divided his time between France and Holland. He is known for his scenes of ports and urban landscapes but also for his depictions of the channels through the small Dutch and French cities. Considered Impressionist, he has a bright palette and works precisely the light and shadows. (Artist referenced Bénézit).
