Very nice oil on hardboard panel depicting a view of the rocks of the Pointe du Raz in Finistère in Brittany, signed G.Deschamps * vintage twentieth century.
This oil is in good condition and frame. It is signed lower right and has a label on the back.
A note: tiny wear on the frame to see pictures.

(Ec en). Studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1939 and 1940 and from 1942 to 1946 in Narbonne. He exhibited in 1944 at the Salon d'Automne of which he is a member. He also exhibited at the Salon des Independants in 1953 and 1954, the National Society of Fine Arts from 1960 to 1964 and comparisons to the 1962 Salon in 1968. His figurative painting wants subjective. It aims to "recreate nature without being the victim." (Bénézit extract)
