Oil on canvas depicting the portrait of Queen Maria Carolina * of Austria, Queen consort of Naples and Sicily, wife of Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies and sister of Queen Marie Antoinette of France, the elbow resting on partitions and holding a book in his left hand, antique eighteenth century.

This table is in good condition. It was restored (and réentoilé). It is not signed.

* Maria Carolina of Austria (1752-1814)

is Queen Consort of Naples and Sicily. Queen Marie Caroline Luise Josephe Johanna Antonie of Naples and Sicily, Archduchess of Austria, Princess Royal of Hungary and Bohemia, Princess of Tuscany, was the daughter of Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Theresa, Archduchess of Austria, "king" of Bohemia and Hungary and the elder sister of Marie Antoinette, Queen of France. Maria Carolina, May 12, 1768, married Ferdinand, King of Naples and Sicily and gave him 18 children.
