Small oil on cardboard depicting an interior scene with a woman preparing the meal or the tasting for her young child, signed P. Vallayer-Moutet *, in a gilded stucco wooden frame, dating from the 19th-early 20th centuries.
This picture is in good condition as well as its frame. It is signed lower left.
Remember: tiny accidents and wear on the frame, tiny lack of paint at the top (at the frame), see photos.
Painter of genre (XIXth) (Ec fr). Pupil of J. Lefebvre, JP Laurens and T. Robert-Fleury. Member of the French Artists since 1901; Bronze medal in 1900 (Universal Exhibition), honorable mention in 1906, third-class medal in 1909. (See Bénézit)
