Rare large baluster shaped temple vase in polychrome Chinese porcelain (green family) decorated on one side with a sage on a horse with various servants and companions; on the other a man prostrating himself in front of an altar and the dignitaries in prayer, all surrounded by a rich vegetal decoration, landscapes and bat, mark of vows and recommendation, of XIXth century time.
This vase is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. It is very decorative because of its size. The catches are shaped like bamboo, the body is adorned with plant friezes, flowers (peonies) and medallions with landscapes, as well as bats. Signature in the ass: mark of wishes and recommendation surrounded by two dragons.
A note: some tiny enamelling defects, slight wear of time, see photos.
